Jesus – the only one morally good, the only one perfect and able to save us from the effects of death, and we as a human race have hated Him. We’ve despised the only one who can make things right in our lives. We have looked upon our Creator as our enemy, instead of the one who has given us life, instead of as the only one able to restore what the devil has destroyed in our lives. We do not have to continue being broken vessels.
He is the potter, we are the clay. He can remake us into something new today. To be born again, we turn our backs on sin, and we ask Jesus to remake us again. Why continue in misery and sorrow when you can have a better tomorrow? Life is not about what we drink or wear, and we do not have to live in despair. Jesus made a way, once and for all, to live as it were before the fall.

We’re not able to remove the pain and trauma from our souls on our own, but through Jesus, it is possible. He stripped himself of everything that made him look like a glorious king, and he came from Heaven to earth, for you and for me, to annihilate sin and its effects. The effects of sin is death, and it affects every area of a person’s life. Wherever you see death, sickness, lack, trauma, or things being stolen from you, you’re seeing the effects of sin. Sin is not just something we do; it’s an actual entity that needed to be destroyed. After the fall of man, when Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden, and ate of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, they became acquainted with sin and became “sinful.” Every human being ever created after the fall has been born into sin and needs to be redeemed. They cannot be reinstated into the Kingdom of God or have a relationship with our Creator again, unless they’re “born again.” When God sent his Son, Jesus, to earth, sin revolted against him and killed him, not realizing it was all a part of God’s grand plan.
Jesus took upon Himself all of our sin, all of our transgressions, all of our sickness, and everything that sin had inflicted on us when He died. At His death, he descended into the depths of the earth, took back the keys of Death and Hades, where all of mankind was destined to spend eternity, so that we now have a way of escape and we no longer have to live a sinful life. Now we can choose to walk free and to live eternally with Christ Jesus. He made a way to deliver us out from the kingdom of darkness, and paved the way for us to be transferred over into the Kingdom of Light and Life. We no longer have to stay prisoners of sin; there is a way out!

By acknowledging that Jesus came, died for us, rose from the dead, and was seated at the right hand of God, and by accepting what He did for us, we become “born again,” and saved from the fires of hell – the future home of the devil and everything evil. Jesus makes what’s wrong, right again. Do you want to be saved and set free from the effects of sin? If so, just pray this out loud –
Jesus, I acknowledge that you came in the flesh to save me, died for my sin, and were raised from the dead. I no longer want to live a sinful life, and I ask that you remake me and strip me of all the desires and connections to sin. Set me right with you this day, in Jesus’ Name. Amen
Now you are born again, and in right standing with the Lord. Sin is still in this world, but as a believer in Christ, you have the power to tell it “No! I do not believe you, and I will not partner with you.” You have a new authority in Christ Jesus, and now YOU have been given the power over sin and death. To see what now belongs to you, your inheritance in Christ Jesus, and how to operate in your newfound freedom, it’s important to read the Bible – our instruction manual on resisting the devil and retaining our freedom. I urge you to begin reading in the book of John and go from there. May the Lord bless you and keep you, and make His face shine upon you. May the Lord be gracious to you and lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.
