I have never been one to really care for Chemistry, nor have I been one to understand it. However, this morning I had a divinely taught Chemistry lesson, and it has me excited! I’ve attempted to put it all into words the best I am able.

At 4:00 am the Lord woke me up with a vision of the Periodic Table of Elements, and a correlation between it and the body of Christ. Chemistry in itself does not excite me, but looking at it in a spiritual sense does.

The body of Christ is like the Periodic Table of Elements. Each of us represents a different element with different characteristics. As elements, we come together to form compounds, and substance manifests. When we join together with certain elements (people) who carry certain characteristics, we produce a compound and a substance that is unique to carry out a specific purpose. Our individual characteristics can only carry us so far, but when joined with another, a force is created that can only be made when the proper elements come into contact with each other.

In order to create a pure substance we must remain in our element; we must remain authentic. By attempting to become like another, we become unstable and produce deformed fruit. When unstable elements (or people) join together, they seek stability from each other, but stability cannot be obtained in this way and it ends in destruction. An unstable person cannot bring stability to another unstable person, just as the blind cannot lead the blind; both will fall into a ditch. In order to become stable, they must come in contact with Stability Himself who is positively charged and able to resist decay. They must join themselves to Jesus.

It’s also imperative to join together with others who are in the body of Christ, who know their identity, because stability can be found there. Those who know who they are in Christ are not tempted or struggling to become something they are not. They are stable and able to lead others into stability. They possess a positive charge much like a proton.

To produce a certain outcome, the right elements must come together. In order for water to manifest, hydrogen must be joined to oxygen in the proper amounts. In a stage production the actors must join with the costume designers, the director, and the other cast members in order for the play to be a success. In the same way, as believers we must stay connected to other positively charged elements (other believers) in the body of Christ in order to be successful and carry out the plans and purposes God has for each and every one of us. As I said before, we can only go so far acting independently, but as we join together with others, we produce substance that cannot be produced individually and we become a force to be reckoned with.

When the body contains all the proper elements, in their proper form, and the elements join together in the way God created them to, then the body will function at optimal level. Each compound, or group (such as the hands and feet of Christ), will produce pure, unadulterated fruit, and will begin to effectively move forward making manifest the Kingdom of Heaven.
